The basic performance of spinning reels - reeling, durability, and flight - has been further evolved. Equipped with Micromodule Gear II and SilentDrive, the reel pursues reeling performance approaching that of flagship models. The new HAGANE GEAR and X-Protect waterproofing mechanism make the new model even stronger and more durable than the previous model. Furthermore, casting performance has been improved by adopting a Long Stroke Spool for the first time in its class. The new model enables anglers to approach points where lures could not reach before. The Stradic, which offers a rich line-up of products for a wide range of situations from light targets to big fish in the sea, has achieved an evolution that approaches that of the flagship model.

HAGANE

HAGANE is a Shimano reel design concept created to withstand continual use and extreme abuse. HAGANE is an innovation with built-in toughness and durability that works alongside Shimano's precision engineering. HAGANE is for all anglers.

HAGANE GEAR

With amazing strength and durability, the HAGANE Gear is at the very heart of most Shimano reels. Shimano, through the application of state-of-the-art technologies, gives anglers the long-lasting smoothness and enjoyment that is felt when anglers first use a reel, over and over again. No cutting work is applied to the teeth of the drive gear during fabrication; instead, the entire surface is calculated in minute detail by a special 3D design and then formed by Shimano's cold-forging technology. The result is assured resilience. HAGANE Gear is the result of Shimano's endless pursuit for durability — this strength and power of forged metal continue to represent the fundamental concept of Shimano reels.

MICROMODULEⅡ

The MICROMODULE Gear II has evolved with Shimano's unique manufacturing technology and a state-of-the-art gear-tooth surface design. The drive and pinion gear surfaces have been analyzed and updated from the ground up in Shimano's pursuit of perfection to further improve the smooth gear feeling and reduce sound.

X SHIP

X SHIP provides improved gear performance. Large diameter drive gear, optimally positioned pinion gear and drive gear, and two points bearings supported pinion gear produce light reeling under load.

HAGANE BODY

The use of lightweight and rigid metals such as aluminum and magnesium firmly suppresses deflection, distortion, and torsion of the reel. This protects delicate gear meshing and enables smooth reeling.

SILENTDRIVE

The basic design of the entire body and drive-related parts were reviewed one by one to reduce minute rattles, gaps, and shaking between parts down to the smallest detail. It provides smooth and quiet reel rotation.

X PROTECT

For medium and small general-purpose spinning reels, which require lighter spinning, we focused on a non-contact structure that does not compromise the lightness of the spinning. In addition to conventional water-repellent treatment, a labyrinth structure that suppresses water penetration is combined to achieve high water-resistant performance despite the non-contact nature of the structure. It is used in the stopper bearing section and line roller section. Large reels for saltwater, a contact-type water-resistant structure is used for large spinning reels that require higher water-resistant performance. By physically cutting off the entry path of seawater with a low-sliding seal member, high water-resistant performance is achieved while suppressing rotational resistance. The stopper bearing and line roller parts are adopted, and the stopper bearing part in particular achieves a water-resistant rating equivalent to IPX8.

G FREE BODY

G FREE BODY technology has been developed to shift the reel's center of gravity closer to the rod. By moving the center of gravity closer to the angler’s hand, the G FREE BODY helps to reduce fatigue and enhance casting comfort.

AR-C SPOOL

The spool has a special spool ring shape. This creates a rectifying effect on the line and realizes both suppression of line trouble and long casting performance.

LONG STROKE SPOOL

The LONG STROKE SPOOL has a longer stroke compared to conventional spool designs. It contributes to improved casting feel and distance.

CROSS CARBON DRAG

The CROSS CARBON DRAG provides the smooth drag release and the durability.

SA-RB

S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.

ONE-PIECE BAIL

ONE-PIECE BAILallows the line to travel unimpeded to the line roller. The seamless design reduces friction and decreases the chance of tangles or the line catching on the bail arm.

DELIVERY POLICY

This policy sets out details of the delivery service we provide for your online purchases. If you require assistance or have any questions, please contact us on our Delivery Hotline 7972828.

Where we deliver

  • We provide delivery service to all addresses within Male’ and Hulhumale’ City. All orders over MVR 300 qualify for free delivery, while orders under MVR 300 are subject to a MVR 50 delivery fee.
  • In addition, we do delivery of goods up to Jetty/boat. Note that we do not engage in loading goods to boat.
  • In cases where the goods are requested to be delivered to a vessel, details should be filled in ‘Delivery address’ fields provided at check out.
  • Customer can choose to pick up the items at Sonee Hardware – Janavaree Magu, Sonee Home - Majeedhee Magu, Sonee Fishing - Boduthakurufaanu Magu and Sonee Hardware Hulhumale' - Nirolhu Magu, please select ‘Pick up’ from delivery option at check-out

How and when we deliver

  • Deliveries are carried out within 24 hours of purchase.
  • All deliveries are carried out between 10.00am to 10.00pm Saturday to Thursday.
  • Orders received on a Friday or public holiday; delivery will be processed on the following business day.
  • Delivery timings are subject to change depending on the items and the working hours. In such cases, recipient would be notified.
  • During this period, packages will be delivered to ground floor.
  • Our staff will not enter any building under any circumstances.
  • Sonee Hardware will not be responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • All deliveries will be made in accordance to the safety & precautional measures advised by HPA.

Acceptance of delivery

  • No delivery notes will require signatures and should be acknowledged via sms, viber, whatsapp or email.
  • Before goods are dispatched, delivery personal shall contact the specified recipient via a phone call to re-confirm the address and availability of the recipient at the delivery address.
  • SONEE HARDWARE shall not be responsible for the damage or loss of any product once delivery has been confirmed either by the original recipient or by a third-party recipient (nominee by the original recipient).

Pickup from store

Customer can choose to collect items from our store:

  • Before placing order, select the “Pickup from Store” button from delivery options on the checkout page.
  • Items will be ready for pick up within 6 Hours from the order confirmation time during the operating hours.
  • Items are to be collected from the respective outlet which was selected at checkout.
  • To collect the items, you will need to bring the Sales Order number and National Identity Card.

RETURNS POLICY

We hope you will be happy with your purchase. However, in the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with the purchase or have received an incorrect or damaged item, you can request a return, replacement, or exchange.

Please note that exchanges can only be made for goods of equal value, or as part payment for higher valued goods. In the case of a higher value, you will be invoiced for the balance amount. No partial refund will be given, and therefore exchanges for a lower priced item(s) are not permitted.

Restocking Fee:

If you decide to cancel the order or return an item due to a change of mind, we will provide a refund, deducting a 10% restocking fee. To qualify for a refund, please notify us within 24 hrs of purchase, provide clear proof of purchase, and ensure the product and packaging are in original, unopened, and re-saleable condition. Kindly note that the 10% restocking fee will be applied to the return, and deducted from the refund amount.

How to return:

  • If the product received is damaged, please bring it to the notice of the delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery or when picking up the items from our outlet.
  • • In the case of defective items, you may return them within 24 hours of delivery in their original packaging. We shall not accept any good(s) used or not in the condition in which they were delivered.

Refunds: To request a refund, please email sales@sonee.com.mv or contact our hotline at 797 2828. Please provide a description of the items you would like to return, the invoice or bill number, and the reason for return in your email.

In the rare event that we're unable to fulfill an order due to stock shortages, we'll promptly notify you and issue a full refund for the affected item(s). While we strive to maintain accurate inventory levels, occasional discrepancies may occur. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. 

WARRANTY POLICY

Warranty Coverage:

  • Our products are covered by various warranty periods, depending on the brand and type of the item. The warranty coverage period will be displayed next to each brand or item in our stores and on our website.
  • The warranty period starts from the date of purchase, as indicated on the original invoice.

Eligibility for Warranty Claims:

  • All returned items must be received in their original condition, undamaged, and packed in the original packaging, along with satisfactory proof of purchase, which includes the bill or invoice. Items must be in brand-new condition and suitable for restocking. We do not accept the return of used or damaged goods, and customers will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

  • Hologram stickers or serial numbers must match those on the original invoice.

Under the warranty, the defective product will be repaired/replaced without any charge, provided we are satisfied that:

  • The product have not been previously opened for repair, service, or altered by anyone other than the service provider.
  • The product has not been tampered with.
  • The serial number on the item have not been altered or removed.
  • The failure has occurred due to a manufacturing or material defect.
  • The product has been purchased from a Sonee Hardware store.
  • Warranty will not allow products to be refunded without the original packaging and all standard accessories included with them.
  • Transportation costs incurred in carrying the product to and from the Service Centre must be borne by the customer.
  • Warranty is valid only in Maldives.

Warranty Claim Process:

  • Customers should visit our outlet or service center to initiate a warranty claim.
  • The Outlet Supervisor/Manager will assess the claim's eligibility.
  • For discrepancies, the product will not be accepted,and customers will be informed accordingly.
  • Accepted items will undergo diagnostic tests, and defective products will be addressed by our Service Center.
  • Refunds,replacements,or repairs will be coordinated with the customer by our retail or sales team.
